TransferGo

Between 2017-2026, I worked as a freelance copywriter and content manager for TransferGo, penning everything from campaign copy and B2B blog posts to essential how-to guides for migrants settling into a new country. 

I also regularly collaborated with the SEO Lead, implementing specific recommendations across all digital content to improve search engine rankings and visibility.

During my last 2.5 years at TransferGo, I was the UK & Global Content Manager, coordinating and publishing all digital content and managing the localisation process across 12+ languages. Part of this role also involved carrying out regular audits on existing content to ensure everything on site was accurate and aligned.

 

Accomplishments

  • Coordinated the creation and publishing of tens of content pages in line with new product launches including the Business Account, Personal Account and Debit Card.
  • Managed the localisation process for all new pages in 12+ languages, organising translations with local language owners and publishing all content once verified.
  • Wrote, edited and published hundreds of English blog posts, following tight SEO guidelines and implementing necessary keywords without overstuffing or compromising readability. 
  • Collaborated with the People team to effectively establish an Employer Branding strategy, which later informed all published content on TransferGo’s Linkedin channel.
  • United with the Creative team including copywriters and designers to effectively plan and produce fresh and engaging content updates in line with brand values and company developments. 
  • Maintained the CMS, collaborating with teams to ensure timely updates and quality control across all websites, and identifying any gaps, outdated content and opportunities for optimisation.
